18th December 2008, Cardiff – Netto, one of the UK’s leading discount supermarkets, has appointed Vista Retail Support to provide maintenance across its EPoS estate, as well as its Back Office systems.
Vista will support Netto across 900 lanes of tills in its 192 stores, while also supporting 192 PCs in its Back Offices.
Allan McKenzie, IT Service Delivery Manager at Netto, said, “We chose Vista due to the company’s extensive knowledge in this area and for its friendly and professional approach to our business needs and concerns. Vista fully took on board the experiences we had with our previous maintainer and demonstrated clearly its terms of service. This is essential as our business continues to grow rapidly.”
Mark Townsend, Senior Business Development Manager at Vista, said, “We are delighted to be able to assist Netto with the maintenance of its EPoS system. The business is growing at such a rate that its EPoS estate must be running at all times and can ill-afford downtime.”
In the future Netto wants to build on the service model it has in place. This includes refining how the business logs and manages calls.
Vista is assisting Netto to manage its change requirement programme through ongoing collaboration and review of service and support provided. The retailer is seeing rapid growth and has plans to grow its UK estate by 10 per cent during 2009.
